Driver/Warehouse Associate

Chesapeake Systems is seeking a dependable Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our Team in Hanover, MD. This role will be responsible for making deliveries throughout Washington DC, Baltimore, and Northern Virginia as well as performing warehouse duties when not out on delivery. Our ideal candidate is a team player with strong organizational skills who thrives in both on-the-road deliveries and warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Capable of driving a 26ft box truck safely and efficiently to our specified locations
• Load and unload trucks with product shipment and returns
• Receive shipments and put away products, updating through GP/SalesPad accounting system and completing paperwork as required
• Responsible for ensuring that trucks are routinely maintained to stay in good working order
• Provide service to walk-in customers for pick-up orders
• Support all divisions within Chesapeake Systems LLC
• Fill in for Warehouse Manager when he/she is on leave
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in and around the warehouse
• Contact customers to confirm deliveries

Qualifications

Base Pay: $25-$30/Hr, commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers, such as the scope of responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
