Job summary

Fromm Electric Supply is seeking a dependable Driver / Warehouse Associate for our Reading Logistics team. The role combines local delivery responsibilities with hands-on warehouse duties in Reading, PA.

You will work independently and as part of a warehouse team, ensuring accurate orders and safe vehicle operation. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand customer orders, shipping tickets, and delivery instructions.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Delivery & Driving: Safely load, transport, and unload products at customer locations.
• Delivery: Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently while following routes and instructions.
• Delivery: Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Delivery: Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation.
• Delivery: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
• Delivery: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles per DOT safety standards.
• Delivery: Handle customer payments or transactions when required.
• Delivery: Return merchandise and related documentation to the warehouse as needed.
• Warehouse: Receive, organize, and put away incoming materials.
• Warehouse: Pull, pick, and pack customer orders and back orders accurately.
• Warehouse: Stock pipe, wire, and other electrical materials.
• Warehouse: Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Warehouse: Verify products against tickets and orders.
• Warehouse: Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Warehouse: Assist with general duties as needed.
• Warehouse: Follow all safety procedures and warehouse standards.

Responsibilities:

Delivery & Driving

• Safely load, transport, and unload products at customer locations.
• Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently while following assigned routes and delivery instructions.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.

• Return merchandise and related documentation to the warehouse as needed.

Warehouse

• Receive, organize, and put away incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull, pick, and pack customer orders and back orders accurately.
• Stock pipe, wire, and other electrical materials.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Verify products against shipping tickets and customer orders.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as business needs require.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse standards.

Requirements
