Responsibilities

1. Daily loading and unloading of products.
2. Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
3. Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
4. Verify all items received against items ordered for accuracy.
5. Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
6. Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
7. Maintain daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and report in/out times with merchandise returns.
8. Use and maintain OF device appropriately.
9. Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
10. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
11. Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
12. Keep grounds and warehouse neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
13. Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to your duties, wear appropriate PPE.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Effective communication skills with customers.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and safety.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday; may require extra hours.

Physical Demands

Frequent lifting (0-100 pounds), pulling, pushing, reaching, walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, occasional climbing, desk work, operating vehicles and warehouse equipment.
