Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is seeking a customer-oriented Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our Davenport team. You will ensure safe, efficient delivery of electrical supplies and assist with general warehouse duties, supporting a fast-paced distribution operation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A Class C license or the ability to obtain a Class C license within 30 days of employment.
• DOT driver qualifications including pre-employment physicals and a safe driving record.
• Drive company truck(s) with safety protocol.
• Provide solutions and contact information when problems arise; report observations to Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials safely, using proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check deliveries/returns for quality and quantity.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut safely with appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors and keep the warehouse tidy and safe.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders; record losses of damaged materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical supplies safely and courteously to customers.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and upkeep.
• Load and unload materials from trucks using proper equipment.
• Receive and check-in deliveries and returns; ensure accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders ranging from small boxes to pallets.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team! As a Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. You will also assist with general warehouse duties.

Shift: 8 AM‑5 PM, M‑F

Starting Rate: $18‑22 (based on experience)

We are looking for associates who:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A Class C license or the ability to obtain a Class C license within 30 days of employment
• Successful completion of all driver qualifications as specified in the Department of Transportation regulations, including pre-employment physical examination, regularly scheduled follow-up physical examinations, and proof of a safe driving record
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol
• Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise, reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift)
• Receive and check-in deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment
• Sweep floors, remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition
• Pick, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials

What you bring:

• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
