Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading electrical distributor, seeks a dependable Driver/Warehouse Associate in Ohio. You will deliver electrical supplies safely, assist in warehouse duties, and help maintain an efficient operation.

The role requires loading/unloading, handling heavy items, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. The position offers a 7 AM–4 PM shift, with starting pay of $20–$21 per hour, and benefits including health coverage, retirement options, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck(s) with care, ensuring safety and compliance with laws.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Provide solutions or contact information when issues arise; report observations to Warehouse Manager.
• Load and unload materials safely using proper equipment and body mechanics.
• Receive and check deliveries, pickups and returns for quality and quantity.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut using appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors and maintain a tidy, safe warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders of varying sizes.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team! As a Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. You will also assist with general warehouse duties.

Shift: 7 AM- 4PM, M-F.

Starting Rate: $20-$21 per hour

We are looking for associates who:

• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Provides associateswith possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise; reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

What you bring:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
