Job summary

Cregger Company Inc is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver to improve operation efficiency by accurately and safely receiving, storing, and delivering materials. Responsibilities include loading trucks, securing items, verifying shipping papers, inspecting vehicles, and delivering orders within set time frames.

You will also document deliveries and maintain safety records while communicating with supervisors and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience loading/unloading and securing shipments.
• Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks for operation by assisting in loading, securing items and verifying shipping papers.
• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids for safe operation and preventive maintenance.
• Deliver orders via the most effective route to meet time frames and customer needs.
• Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders and report discrepancies to the company.
• Maintain truck maintenance and driving records and required safety/quality documents.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Pull, pack and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Receive shipments and report quality or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate person.
• Communicate with supervisors, sales staff and customers to coordinate deliveries/pickups.
• Keep the facility clean, safe and organized; follow all policies in a drug-free workplace.
