Job summary

WG/Welch Mechanical Contractors is seeking a responsible Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member to join our operations department. The role blends professional driving with warehouse duties to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory management.

You will operate company vehicles, load/unload goods, and maintain records while upholding safety and customer service standards. Previous delivery/warehouse experience is a plus, with forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers, in accordance with established routes and schedules.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and product integrity.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, preparing, and organizing warehouse inventory.
• Maintain accurate delivery and warehouse records electronically or on paper as required.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members to resolve issues or provide delivery updates.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and state/federal traffic regulations.
• Support general warehouse housekeeping and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers, in accordance with established routes and schedules.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and product integrity.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, preparing, and organizing warehouse inventory.
• Maintain accurate delivery and warehouse records electronically or on paper as required.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members to resolve issues or provide delivery updates.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and state/federal traffic regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory and delivery management.
• Eligibility to work in the country of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with local delivery routes and geographic area.
• Certifications in forklift operation
