Job summary

Echo Electric is seeking a customer-oriented Driver/Warehouse Associate to ensure safe, efficient delivery of electrical supplies and to assist with general warehouse duties. The role requires operating delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will drive company trucks, handle deliveries to customer sites, and support warehouse operations with accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck(s) with care, following traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Provide solutions and/or contact information when problems arise; report observations to the Warehouse Manager.
• Load and unload materials from truck safely and efficiently.
• Receive and check deliveries, pickups, and returns for quality and quantity.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut using appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors and keep the warehouse tidy and safe.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders, ranging from small boxes to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team! As a Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. You will also assist with general warehouse duties.
Shift: 8AM-5PM, M-F.
Starting Rate: $20-$22 per hour (based on experience)
We Are Looking For Associates Who

• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise; reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.
  

What You Bring

• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
