Job summary

Senior Resource Group seeks a dedicated driver to transport residents to activities and appointments in Tucson, AZ. You’ll support seniors with daily tasks and ensure safety and comfort during trips, while working within a warm, caring environment.

The role includes full-time Sunday–Thursday 8am–4pm or part-time Wednesday–Saturday 8am–2pm, with competitive pay and benefits. A valid AZ driver license, clean record, and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• AZ driver license (non-CDL) with at least one year experience operating a 12-seat vehicle.
• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening / physical.
• Must be able to obtain an AZ Fingerprint Card.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a bus, minibus, or van to transport residents to and from scheduled group activities and appointments.
• Assist passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs, walkers and other equipment during trip.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.

Job Description

Drive a bus, minibus, or van to transport residents to and from scheduled group activities and individual resident appointments. Helping our seniors with everyday tasks and errands is sincerely appreciated by our residents.

• Drive vehicle to designated locations.
• Assist passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs, walkers and other equipment to restraining devices to stabilize equipment during trip.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.

Qualifications

• Have a valid AZ driver license (non-CDL) – must have at least one year of experience operating a 12-seat commercial vehicle
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening / physical
• Must be able to obtain an AZ Fingerprint Card through AZ Department of Public Safety
• Must be able to pass a background check
