Job summary

O'Neal Industries, Inc. is seeking personnel for housekeeping, shipping area duties and truck operations. Responsibilities include fuelening the company truck, maintaining daily delivery logs and performing daily truck inspections.

The role requires a clean driving record, a GED or high school diploma with 1–3 years related experience, plus training in forklift, shipping, safety and fire extinguisher use. Training may be provided.

  • Train new employees or cross-train current staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); combined with one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Fork Truck Training, Shipping Training, Safety training, and fire Extinguisher Training. (UPM provided)
