Job summary

Lighthouse at Chico Assisted Living in Chico, CA is hiring a Driver to ensure safe, timely transportation for residents, with a focus on compassionate service and reliable communication with the Transportation Scheduler.

The role requires holding a valid US driver's license, physical ability to assist residents, and the willingness to work flexible shifts. The team emphasizes a caring environment, growth opportunities, and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license; Valid CDL for Class C License
• Driver must maintain their ability to drive legally and be physically able to assist mild to moderately disabled individuals.
• Must have the ability to lift at least 30 pounds without difficulty and be able to push or support up to 185 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow schedules and communicate with the Transportation Scheduler regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation
• Assist clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner
• Assist the Transportation Scheduler with changes and pertinent information about clients
• Communicate any vehicle maintenance needs to the Transportation Scheduler
• Assist facility staff with client support as needed or whenever scheduling permits
