Job summary

Lighthouse at Chico Assisted Living in Chico, CA is hiring a Driver to support residents' transportation needs with compassion and reliability.

You will follow schedules, communicate with the Transportation Scheduler, assist clients, and help with vehicle maintenance as scheduling allows.

A valid US driver’s license and CDL Class C are required, along with the ability to lift 30 pounds and assist individuals with limited mobility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid US driver's license and CDL Class C.
• Physically able to lift 30 pounds and assist up to 185 pounds.
• Able to drive legally and respond with courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Follow schedules and communicate with the Transportation Scheduler regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation
• Assist clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner
• Assist the Transportation Scheduler with changes and pertinent information about clients
• Communicate any vehicle maintenance needs to the Transportation Scheduler
• Assist facility staff with client support as needed or whenever scheduling permits
