Our Climbing Arborists perform aerial work on the canopy of trees, including pruning, cabling, and bracing, to help preserve and care for trees in urban and residential areas. They ensure job site tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and with our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work on the canopy of trees using ropes, ladders, bucket trucks, and other aerial devices.
• Work with a small team to ensure tree care projects follow specifications.
• Communicate with the Arbor Manager to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of focus on safety procedures and awareness.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and properly maintained for safe operations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to perform tree care duties.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Previous tree climbing experience and pruning knowledge preferred.
• Strong focus on safety.
• Competent with tree care equipment.
• Self-motivated with leadership qualities.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Willing to work long periods outdoors in extreme temperatures and sunlight.
• Able to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
• Able to use hand tools and power equipment.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
