A leading company in behavioral health services is seeking a Transporter to provide responsible transportation for individuals in Residential Services. The role involves ensuring individuals are connected to community care, assisting with transfers, and operating company vehicles within a designated service area. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, driving experience, and certifications in CPR and First Aid.
The Transporter provides caring and responsible transportation for individuals in Residential Services when no alternative transportation is available. Responsibilities include ensuring individuals are connected to community care, assisting with transfers, and transporting to various locations such as bus stations, hospitals, residences, or other designated sites. While most individuals are independent in transfers and ambulation, some may require additional help, including assistance with wheelchair use. Transporters will operate company-owned non-emergency medical transportation vehicles within the LBHS 10-county service area and other locations as directed. Other duties may be assigned.

Must be physically and emotionally fit to work in a high-stress environment, meet deadlines, and handle routine and crisis situations. The role may involve extended periods of sitting, walking, and standing, with varying hours to provide monitoring, education, crisis management, and travel to off-campus locations using LBHS vehicles.
