Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group’s Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a Driver / Transportation CNA to safely transport residents to and from appointments and the center.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and courteous motor vehicle operation in accordance with laws.
• Transfer residents from bed to chair and chair to bed.
• Load and unload residents to/from transport van safely.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Report vehicle incidents and complete required reports.

Job Summary

Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a Driver / Transportation CNA to safely, timely, and reliably transport residents to and from appointments and the center.

Essential Functions

• Maintain safe and courteous motor vehicle operation in compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform safe transfer of residents from bed to chair, chair to bed.
• Perform safe loading and unloading of residents to and from transport van.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safe operation of the vehicle.
• Report vehicle accidents, traffic citations, or incidents immediately and complete required reports.

Education, Licensure, And Experience

• Required: Valid driver’s license and has an acceptable driving record
• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant licensure.
