Job description

Pay Rate: $29.35 per hour

Position Overview

This position involves operating a tractor/trailer truck to make local and regional deliveries within a radius of up to 275 miles. The role primarily entails delivering finished products or raw materials/supplies to company distribution and manufacturing centers. The driver must obtain proper authorization for all deliveries and pickups, inspect the vehicle for safety before and after trips, and maintain a DOT driver’s log in compliance with all regulations.

Physical Requirements

The job requires handling tractor/trailer components, including bending, cranking landing gear, climbing in and out of cabs, and sitting for extended periods. This is a no-touch freight position, and drivers are expected to be home daily.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Deliver finished products or raw materials to designated destinations.
2. Ensure the safety and compliance of the load.
3. Maintain accurate DOT driver logs and other required documentation.
4. Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
5. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
