Job Details

Pay Rate: $29.35 per hour

Position involves driving a tractor/trailer for local regional deliveries (up to 275 miles radius) of finished products or raw materials to company distribution and manufacturing centers. Responsibilities include obtaining proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-ups, inspecting the vehicle for safe operating conditions before and after trips, maintaining a DOT driver's log, and adhering to all DOT regulations.

This role requires physical activity such as working with tractor/trailer components, bending, cranking landing gear, climbing in and out of cabs, and sitting for extended periods. It is no-touch freight work with drivers returning home daily.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Deliver finished products or raw materials to designated locations
2. Ensure the safety and compliance of the load
3. Maintain DOT driver logs and other required documentation
4. Ensure regular and reliable attendance
5. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
