Job description

Pay Rate: $29.35 per hour

The position involves driving a tractor/trailer truck to make local and regional deliveries within a 275-mile radius of the company. Deliveries primarily include finished products or raw materials/supplies to company distribution and manufacturing centers. The driver must obtain proper authorization for all deliveries and pick-ups.

Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle for safe operating conditions before and after each trip, maintaining a DOT driver’s log, and adhering to all DOT regulations.

This role requires physical tasks such as working with tractor/trailer components, including bending, cranking landing gear, climbing in and out of cabs, and sitting for extended periods. This is a no-touch freight position, and drivers are home daily.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Deliver finished products or raw materials to the designated destination
• Ensure safety and compliance of the load
• Maintain DOT driver logs and other required documentation
• Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
