Recology is seeking a CDL Class A driver for a Monday–Friday shift in Warrenton, OR, starting early with typically 10-hour days. The role emphasizes safety checks, efficient vehicle operation, and maintaining positive customer relations across service areas.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, proper loading procedures, adherence to load limits, and reporting incidents. A valid medical card and willingness to drive a manual transmission are required.

Qualifications

• One year of commercial driving experience (two years preferred).
• Principles and practices of job site safety and state/local regulations including waste regulations.
• Basic computer programs knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CLASS A commercial driver's license and a current medical card; comfortable driving a manual transmission.

Responsabilités

• Ensures all safety measures appropriate for operation of assigned vehicle are consistently and efficiently applied.
• Operates vehicle in all assigned service areas in a timely and efficient manner.
• Loads all assigned materials according to normal operating procedures and reports any violations to supervisor.
• Ensures hazardous materials are not accepted, as able.
• Assures materials being transported comply within the legal load limits.
• Reports all accidents and/or safety violations to the appropriate authority and in a timely manner.
• Maintain support of good customer relations and positively influences the community's perception of the Company throughout all applicable service areas.
• Other duties as assigned

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 4:15am start time (usually 10-hour day)

Role

Under limited supervision, accountable for the efficient and effective operation of assigned vehicle, the consistent application of safety and operational procedures, and maintenance of good customer relations throughout all applicable service areas.
