Job Description

As Driver Trainee, you will start by accompanying a Driver on customer collection routes .After 60-90 days of training, you may be eligible to obtain a CDL. You’ll also be thoroughly trained to handle hazardous materials safely and compliantly. As Trainee, you’ll video record the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload these videos into our system. You’ll assist the Driver in loading containers and supplies for daily service stops, complete required paperwork, and you may assist in maintaining inventory and storage. You may need to drive a non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness the collection process on occasion.

Starting pay as a trainee will be $23once your CDL is successfully obtained and you are assigned a CDL position, pay will increase to $27 for the CDL B position

This position requires approximately 25% overnight travel, depending upon the assigned route. The selected candidate must be at least 18 years of age by law, and pass a DEA background check, physical, and drug screen.


Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED.

Our ideal candidate will be fluent in English (verbal and written). Previous experience working with hazardous materials and a knowledge of OSHA regulations would be ideal. Candidates must be willing and able to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, respirator, etc., and follow all safety policies and procedures.
