Job summary

VENU+ is seeking a Driver Technician to ensure safe, timely delivery of products to our accounts, customers, and guests at world-class destinations. You will operate medium to large trucks, plan routes, and perform light maintenance while maintaining accurate delivery records and delivering excellent service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum of 2 years’ box truck experience, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Minimum of 2 years driving a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS for route optimization.

Responsibilities

This position complies with instructions and prescribed routines as well as plans routes and deliveries. The Driver Technician operates medium to large trucks daily. The role will also handle minor maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed.Safely operates medium to large trucks daily to deliver and pick up rental equipment at theme parks, resorts, and other facilities as instructedDeliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customer/guest needsPerform maintenance services for mobility equipment, including strollers, wheelchairs, ECV's, lockers and other allied equipmentEnsure documents delivery and accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives reporting any discrepancies to companyMaintain a safe work area and complies with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work areas in a clean and orderly conditionConduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenanceLoading and unloading equipment in a timely mannerFollow all traffic laws and regulationsMaintain accurate records of deliveries and pickupsAssist with the setup and breakdown of equipment as requiredProviding exceptional customer service and addressing any concernsPerform other duties as assigned#venuplushpValid driver's licenseMinimum of 2 years of experience as a box truck driverStrong knowledge of local roads and routesExcellent driving and computer skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyBasic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshootingFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
