Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To maintain all mall-owned and operated parking lots, garages, and service docks with a sweeping truck, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment while preserving the property’s curb appeal. This is a part-time position with shifts scheduled outside normal mall hours.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Sweeping all roadways, finger roads, parking fields/garages, and loading docks daily
• Handpicking debris in roadways, finger roads, parking areas, and around compactors as needed
• Reporting safety hazards such as potholes, lighting issues, or equipment malfunctions to management
• Completing daily pre- and post-operation checklists for the parking lot sweeper
• Performing other job-related tasks as directed

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
• Familiarity with street sweeper trucks and pressure washing equipment
• Ability to walk and lift debris up to 50 lbs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in street sweeping
• Valid driver’s license
