Candidates must be able to work ANY shift within a 24/7 operation, including weekends, overnight, and holidays.

Position Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for effective and efficient product distribution, managing a team of professional drivers, and assisting the Transportation Manager in the day-to-day operations of the delivery department.

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Supervise daily delivery operations, planning, and scheduling
  2. Ensure quality standards and productivity goals are achieved
  3. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety and health standards (DOT, OSHA, etc.)
  4. Coordinate drivers according to customer needs
  5. Establish and maintain positive customer relationships
  6. Develop transportation staff
  7. Other projects and duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree with 3 to 4+ years of related experience and 0 to 1+ years of supervisory experience, or a High School Diploma with 5+ years of specific experience and 1-2+ years of supervisory experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
