Schneider in Atlanta, GA seeks a Driver Manager to ensure successful execution of customer freight delivery through effective driver management. You will link the business, drivers and customers, while coaching drivers and balancing stakeholder needs.

This full-time role operates on-site in Atlanta with a Monday–Friday schedule. The position emphasizes safety, payroll oversight and collaboration across teams to improve retention and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with a variety of teams, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Balance the needs of our customers, drivers and the business.
• Provide continuous, structured and proactive performance management and coaching to drivers.
• Manage driver payroll and home time.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention and drive business.
