Imperial Brady is seeking a Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver in Hammond, LA. You will be responsible for a daily route, unloading by hand, pallet jack, and lift gate, and delivering to customer sites with excellent service.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Candidates must have a valid CDL-B, pass a DOT medical exam, and a good driving record, with at least 1 year of CDL-B and route delivery experience.

Qualificações

• Must have a valid CDL-B license.
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience; lift gate experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver products and provide exceptional customer service on a daily route.
• Unload cargo via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Maintain and document activity logs; report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and communicate with customers positively.

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6AM to 2:30PM.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
