Job summary

Imperial Brady is seeking a Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver in Puerto Rico to join a transportation team focused on reliable deliveries and customer service.

The role involves operating a 24’ box truck, loading/unloading with pallet jack and lift gate, and delivering to customer locations while maintaining safety and logs. Monday–Friday, 6:00 am start, physical work required.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL B).
• Must pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• Good driving record.
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer-designated locations and unload via hand, pallet jack and lift gate.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure accurate delivery documentation.
• Safely operate a 24’ box truck (26,000 lbs GVW).
• Load and unload cargo using hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Track and document daily activity logs and report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip and communicate with customers positively.

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6:00 am to finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
