Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Warehouse/Shipping Associate for our service center in Topeka, KS. The role is on-site and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering a stable day shift and team-focused environment.

You will ship/receive materials, manage stock, operate a forklift and assist with data entry and customer service tasks. A valid license and clean driving record are required, with opportunities for growth across operations and service roles.

Qualifications

• 6+ months warehouse or customer service experience.
• Written and verbal communication skills; English grammar.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of team offering our customers world class service and support. You’ll use your strong customer service skills when interacting with customers.

This position is on site at our service center. Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Great work / life balance!

• Ship and/or receive materials, maintain stock areas and inventory
• Use forklift, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters
• Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and equipment
• Assist in data entry, counter and telephone sales/service, order pulling, and customer calls as needed
• Maintain clean driving record

Qualifications

• 6+ months warehouse or customer service experience
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs.
