Responsibilities

As a Warehouse/Driver associate, you will perform duties to provide excellent service and support to our customers. Your tasks will include picking up and delivering orders, shipping and receiving materials, maintaining stock areas and inventory, and interacting with customers using your strong customer service skills.

The goal is to collaborate with our Service Center team to deliver first-class service, grow our business with existing and new customers, and meet or exceed sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.

  • Receive and verify incoming materials, maintain stock areas, prepare sales orders, pick up and deliver orders, and ensure accuracy of merchandise.
  • Follow a daily schedule and work from work orders, instructions, and verbal/written directions.
  • Operate motor trucks, hand and mobile lift equipment, tools, weighing scales, and postage meters.
  • Use company vehicle for pickups and deliveries, planning routes for efficiency.
  • Assist with counter and telephone sales, order pulling, and customer calls as needed.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of proven customer service or warehouse experience, preferably in a distribution or parts environment.
  • Basic computer skills, accurate data entry, math and mechanical aptitude, and basic reading skills.
  • Proficiency in English grammar, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 lbs. or more regularly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial distribution products.
  • Warehouse experience.
