Job summary

Ben E. Keith is hiring for a shuttle driver in Miami, OK. The role emphasizes safe, courteous driver conduct, adherence to FMCSA regulations, and maintaining equipment readiness. Training centers on BEK principles and interaction with customers during deliveries.

The position requires a Class A CDL with Doubles, six months' DOT driving experience, and capability to operate internal systems and POS devices. Candidates should endure outdoor conditions and lift up to 90 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) Preferred.
• At least 6 months of DOT driving experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Doubles endorsement.
• Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations required.
• Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to learn internal applications i.e.… On-Board Computer and Proof of Delivery equipment.
• Able to work outside in extreme temperatures (cold and hot).
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
• Must be able to lift and move dolly tongue and cases weighing up to 90 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Occasionally complete deliveries to customers to/from the warehouse or shuttle site as needed.

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
