• At least one year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; related experience may count.
• Ability to operate tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
• Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while following DOT regulations.
• Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate issues, delays, or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Shuttle Driver, you will:

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to climb in and out of tractors and trailers frequently.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to read route information, product descriptions, and safety documentation.
• Normal use of hands, arms, shoulders, legs, and feet to safely perform job duties.
