Job Description

The Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return the empty trailers back to the branch. Responsibilities include:

1. Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers to return
2. Maintain delivery time windows
3. Immediately communicate problems with supervisor
4. Perform duties following the company’s safety standards
5. Represent Ben E. Keith professionally, maintaining a positive attitude, dress code, and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three years
• Pass required Drug and Physical Screening
• At least 1 year of verifiable Shuttle Doubles DOT driving experience within the last 3 years
• Valid state-issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements
• Ability to operate/drive trailers with tandem axle tractors (28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft.)
• High School Diploma or GED; work experience may substitute for education
