Job Summary

The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for delivering loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and returning empty trailers to the branch. The role requires maintaining delivery schedules, communicating issues promptly, adhering to safety standards, and representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers for return.
2. Maintain delivery time windows.
3. Immediately communicate any problems to the supervisor.
4. Follow all safety standards and company policies.
5. Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, dress code, and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience.
• Good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three years.
• Ability to operate single axle trailers with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft. trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• High School Diploma or GED; work experience may substitute education.
• Must pass required drug and physical screenings.
