Job Description: Shuttle Driver

The Shuttle Driver will:

1. Deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.
2. Maintain delivery time windows.
3. Immediately communicate problems with a supervisor.
4. Perform duties following the company’s safety standards.
5. Represent Ben E. Keith professionally, maintaining a positive attitude, dress code, and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience.
• Good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three years.
• Ability to operate/drive trailers with tandem axles, including 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft. trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• Must pass required drug and physical screening.
• High School Diploma or GED; work experience may substitute for education.
