Job summary

Ben E. Keith is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Tallahassee, FL to deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and retrieve empties while maintaining tight delivery windows.

You will communicate issues to supervision and uphold safety and professional standards on every shift. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple endorsements, a clean driving record, and at least one year of DOT driving experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
• Must hold a valid state-issued Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in 3 years; drug and physical screening required.
• High School Diploma or GED; work experience may substitute education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.
• Maintain delivery time windows and communicate problems with supervisor.
• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally, following dress code and safety standards.

Driver - Shuttle Doubles - DOT-Tallahassee, FL

Responsibilities: The Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return the empty trailers back to the branch. Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers to return Maintain delivery time windows Immediately communicate problems with supervisor Perform duties by following the company’s safety standards Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, following dress code and cleanliness standards.

Job Qualifications: Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three (3) years. Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening. At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required. Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
Ability to operate/drive a single axle with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft., trailers with tandem axle tractors. Must have High School Diploma or GED – Work experience may be substituted for education.
