Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking an experienced truck driver to deliver and retrieve trailers in a safe, timely manner. You will communicate issues promptly to a supervisor and maintain strict safety and dress standards on every shift.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements and a solid driving record. High school diploma or GED is expected, with work experience possibly substituting education.

Qualifications

• Must have DOT driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements is required.
• High school diploma or GED is acceptable; work experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and retrieve empties.
• Maintain delivery time windows.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and retrieve empty trailers to return.
• Maintain delivery time windows.
• Immediately communicate problems with the supervisor.
• Perform duties following company safety standards.
• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally, maintaining a positive attitude, and following dress code and cleanliness standards.
• Use dash cameras to ensure safe driving; comply with driver consent requirements.

Qualifications

• Good driving record with no more than one moving violation in the past three years.
• Pass required drug and physical screening.
• At least one year of DOT driving experience.
• Valid state‑issued Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Ability to operate single‑axle loads of 28 ft, 36 ft, and 48 ft trailers with tandem‑axle tractors.
• High School Diploma or GED; work experience may substitute for education.
