Job Responsibilities

The Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch, maintaining delivery time windows. The driver must immediately communicate any problems to the supervisor, perform duties according to the company's safety standards, and represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, following dress code and cleanliness standards.

Work Environment & Safety

Driver safety is a priority. Ben E. Keith uses dash cameras with artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events, and improve driver safety performance. All drivers sign a consent form confirming their understanding.

Qualifications

• Good driving record with no more than one moving violation in the past 3 years.
• Must pass required drug and physical screening.
• At least one year of DOT driving experience.
• Valid state‑issued Class A CDL license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Ability to operate single‑axle tractors with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft. trailers with tandem axles.
• High School Diploma or GED (work experience may be substituted for education).
