Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empty trailers to the distribution center. The role emphasizes safety and reliability, with a daily pay rate of $245 and benefits beginning on day one.

The position requires a CDL-A, 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, and adherence to DOT regulations. Candidates must be at least 21 and proficient in English for job tasks and safety communications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for job tasks and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Secure product inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) per DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul when needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This Shuttle Driver is responsible for the delivery of full trailers to the Domicile and taking empty trailers back to the Distribution Center.

Pay Rate: Drivers make $245.00 a day

What you’ll do as a Shuttle Driver:
