Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents and support daily activities. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, conduct basic vehicle checks, and maintain logging and safety practices to ensure comfort and security during every trip.

Ideal candidates hold a HS Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and CPR certification as required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• CPR certification as required.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.

What We’re Looking For:

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+


• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record


• CPR certification (as required)

• Ability to remain calm in emergencies


• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices
