Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Lakewood, Colorado, seeks a compassionate Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort and vehicle safety on every trip.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, logging driving records, and adhering to safety and infection-control standards. The role supports activities when not driving and emphasizes resident safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Able to assist residents in and out of vehicles and manage safety on trips.

What You'll Do:

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings

• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving

You play a critical role in resident safety, reliability, and positive community experiences.

What We're Looking For:

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification (as required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices
