Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Fort Collins is seeking a Part-time Driver to transport residents to scheduled destinations and ensure safe operation of community transportation vehicles. This role is non-exempt with a Friday 9am-3:30pm schedule and pays $18–$19 per hour.

The position emphasizes caring for residents and upholding MorningStar’s culture of service and respect. Prior driving experience with seniors is preferred; a valid license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must have a valid State driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from appointments, errands and activities.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes.
• Maintain vehicle records and coordinate mileage with expenses.

Job Summary

Responsible for driving the residents to and from scheduled destinations. Responsible for the safe and effective operation of all Community transportation vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from specified destinations such as doctor's appointments, grocery shopping and other errands.
• Monitors residents' overall well-being and reports any changes of resident status to supervisor.
• May be responsible for driver safety training of other operators.
• Responsible for record keeping of community vehicles preventative maintenance needs and costs associated with those needs.
• Responsible for verifying coordination of mileage record with gas expenses.
• Responsible for quarterly report to management.
• Responsible for reporting billable hours for residents.
• Complies with all Driver and Motor Vehicle guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 3-6 months experience in a driving position preferably with senior adults, knowledge of streets in Denver Metro area and the ability to navigate to and from destinations, must possess a valid State driver's license and appropriate driving record, must be able to read, write, and speak English, must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Job Knowledge: Ability to drive and maintain various types of vehicles.
