The position requires a valid license, clean driving record, and DOT screening, with potential benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k. Prior route experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with a valid driver's license and a consistently good driving record.
• Background check, drug screen, and DOT physical requirements.
• At least one year of route transportation experience (preferred).
• Lift at least 70 lbs and handle bins up to 350 lbs; able to climb into a truck cab.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to pass pre-employment screenings and DOT physical.
• Three years of route transportation experience (preferred).
• Handheld scanner proficiency and attention to paperwork accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles safely and in compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Deliver customer orders and prepare accurate paperwork; load, transport, and drive the route without assistance.
• Collaborate with the operations team and customers to ensure high service levels and a seamless delivery and retrieval process.

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Non-CDL or CDL Truck Driver to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle and providing excellent customer service while handling and delivering customer orders. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Operate and Maintain: Safely and efficiently operate and maintain company vehicles, strictly ensuring adherence to all security and regulatory procedures.

• Deliver and Document: Deliver timely customer orders and prepare accurate, complete paperwork and records, including loading, transporting, and driving the route without assistance.

• Collaborate for Service: Collaborate with the operations team and customers to ensure a high level of customer service and a seamless delivery and retrieval process.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• Minimum Age and License: Minimum age of 21 with a valid Driver’s License and a consistently good driving record. Successfully meet the background check, drug screen, and DOT physical requirements.

• Route Experience: At least one year of route transportation experience (preferred).

• Physical requirements: The ability to lift at least 70 pounds and push/pull bins from 25 to 350 pounds (average 170 pounds). Carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs and ladders. Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.

• Communication Skills: Strong knowledge of safe, efficient driving practices and demonstrable skills in customer service and clear verbal communication.

• Climb/step-up into a truck cab

• Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations

• Lift at least 70 lbs.

• Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record

• Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check and a DOT physical

• Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills

• At least three years of route transportation experience in a multi-stop service route environment is preferred

• Handheld scanner proficiency

• Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork

• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills

• Commitment to adhere and enforce all security procedures

What We Offer:

• Shift: Monday-Friday 8am Start time

• Pay: $20/hr for non-CDL drivers and $22/hr for CDL drivers

• No mandatory weekends

• Home every night
