Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Truck Driver to join our Transportation team. You will safely operate company vehicles, deliver customer orders, and document all activities with precise paperwork.

You’ll collaborate with the operations team to ensure a high level of customer service and a smooth delivery and retrieval process. The role requires a minimum 21 years old driver’s license, driving experience, and the ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of route transportation experience; 3 years preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and move bins up to 350 lbs; endurance for stairs and ladders.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, background check and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders and complete paperwork accurately; load, transport, and route without assistance.

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Non-CDL or CDL Truck Driver to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle and providing excellent customer service while handling and delivering customer orders. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Operate and Maintain: Safely and efficiently operate and maintain company vehicles, strictly ensuring adherence to all security and regulatory procedures.
• Deliver and Document: Deliver timely customer orders and prepare accurate, complete paperwork and records, including loading, transporting, and driving the route without assistance.
• Collaborate for Service: Collaborate with the operations team and customers to ensure a high level of customer service and a seamless delivery and retrieval process.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum Age and License: Minimum age of 21 with a valid Driver’s License and a consistently good driving record. Successfully meet the background check, drug screen, and DOT physical requirements.
• Route Experience: At least one year of route transportation experience (preferred).
• Physical requirements: The ability to lift at least 70 pounds and push/pull bins from 25 to 350 pounds (average 170 pounds). Carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs and ladders. Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Communication Skills: Strong knowledge of safe, efficient driving practices and demonstrable skills in customer service and clear verbal communication.
• Climb/step-up into a truck cab
• Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations
• Lift at least 70 lbs.
• Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check and a DOT physical
• Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
• At least three years of route transportation experience in a multi-stop service route environment is preferred
• Handheld scanner proficiency
• Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to adhere and enforce all security procedures

• Pay: $20/hr for non-CDL drivers and $22/hr for CDL drivers
