Job summary

Assist Ambulette in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Driver Safety Trainer to join our team and enhance fleet safety. You will run driver evaluations, deliver training for new hires and ongoing staff, review driving records for infractions, and coach drivers on safe practices, completing all required paperwork.

The role requires availability Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and experience with digital data systems such as Lytx, Samsara, or Motiv.

Qualifications

• Prior experience training drivers, especially in a commercial or ambulatory transport setting.
• Willingness to coach drivers and crewmembers on infractions and safety.
• Ability to write reports and email correspondence.
• Comfort using digital data systems for fleet management.

## 646-243-6348 Driver Safety Trainer • Training - Brooklyn, New York Assist Ambulette is seeking an experienced Driver Safety Trainer to join our team! Job Duties: • Conducting driver evaluations as needed • Conducting training class with candidates for employment, new hires and annually, and complete all associated ocumentation • Reviewing ambulette driving for infractions and accidents • Conducting coaching and counseling sessions with drivers and crewmembers on infractions and accidents, and completing all necessary paperwork • Duties are subject to change and are not limited to the ones mentioned on this list Requirements: • Must be available Mon-Fri 9a-5p • Must have a valid driver's license from New York, D-class or above, with an acceptable driving abstract/record • Must have experience training drivers, commercially preferred, but not required • Must have experience professionally coaching and coaching drivers on driving/passenger infractions and accidents • Must have comfortability using digital data systems for human resource anagement and automatic vehicle tracking, such as Lytx, Samsara or Motiv • Must have comfortability writing reports and corresponding via email Questions?
