Job summary

• Drive GVW under 26,000 lbs.
• Load, secure, and deliver merchandise to destinations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive assigned vehicle on local routes.
• Pick-up and transport goods to intended destination.
• Ensure contents are properly secured in truck or container to prevent damage.
• Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.
• Assist in mapping driving routes and stay on predetermined routes.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Verify that shipment contents match the manifest.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow delivery schedule and drive according to weather/road conditions.
• Maintain required paperwork and logs.
