Job Overview

The Route Sales Representative is responsible for selling and merchandising Dietz & Watson’s complete line of quality products to existing and new accounts while driving a Dietz & Watson truck.

Position Details

• Full-time, averaging 45-50 hours weekly with start times between 4 am & 5 am.
• Competitive base pay plus incentives, including medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Primary Duties

1. Selling and delivering products to an established route.
2. Building sales with clients/customers.
3. Introducing new products.
4. Attempting to increase sales at each stop.
5. Maintaining financial records of daily sales.
6. Managing inventory of the delivery truck.
7. Using handheld computers for sales and delivery documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid CDL B license.
• Have a 2-year clear driving history.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to walk and stand continually.
• Ability to climb stairs and perform frequent bending and twisting.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
• Use of both hands and arms required.
• High level of concentration and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position.
