Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Class A CDL OTR Team Driver to operate a sleeper-equipped tractor-trailer and tanker, transporting materials across the United States. This role involves loading/unloading, inventory checks, and maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance with a two-person driver team.

The position requires a CDL Class A with Tank and HazMat endorsements, a current ATF license, and 21+ years of age, plus proven driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old per DOT.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years driving experience or CDL training completed.
• Must acquire ATF license to possess explosives.
• Must comply with all State & Federal explosive laws.
• CDL Class A with Tank and Hazardous Material endorsements and Air Brake.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance documents.

Responsibilities

• Drives/operates truck for delivery across the United States.
• Unloads tankers into storage bin at customer using onboard pump.
• Loads/unloads/inventory counts pre/post-trip.
• Completes pre/post-trip inspections and reports maintenance needs.
• Follows directions from Transportation Dispatcher.
• Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors, and agencies.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safe work environment.
• Completes required paperwork per policies and DOT/state/federal rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
