Job Details

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Drive modernized trucks and other vehicles to support receiving operation. Performs duties necessary to and involving the receiving, check, and distributing of all items delivered to receiving platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Receive/counts/signs for Jefferson merchandise/supplies.
• Process receiving documents/maintains file of receiving logs and create end of day reports
• Delivers merchandise/supplies/equipment and instruments to end user.
• Drive Jefferson trucks/make deliveries to end users.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Review purchase order data, accept delivery of all items, count, weight or otherwise inspect paperwork or incoming items to assure compliance purchase order specifications and standards of quality ad quantity.
• Create discrepancy reports
• Direct or participate in the preparation of items for shipment, create shipping labels for dispatching
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must pass a fit for duty test: Lifting, Pushing and loading carts into a trailer. Test to be performed by EH&S department.
