ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential sites. This role involves navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and may include handling extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads.
• Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to site conditions.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes for precise pouring.
• Truck Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the truck.
• Customer Service: Provide outstanding service and maintain a professional image.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Educational and Licensing: Valid CDL A or B; High School diploma preferred; must qualify in FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Skills: Proficient in English; acceptable CSA and MVR records; no recent DUI/DWI; up to 3 moving violations in 3 years; safety knowledge; good communication; basic maintenance skills (desirable).

Working Conditions
