Job Summary

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential sites. This role involves navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and handling extension chutes weighing 30-50 pounds.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Adhere to safety and compliance regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads.
• Manage discharge methods based on site conditions.
• Attach and operate extension chutes for precise pouring.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and mechanical soundness.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional image.
• Coordinate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Valid CDL A or B license; high school diploma preferred; must meet FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Acceptable CSA and MVR records; no recent DUI/DWI; no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years.
• Strong safety knowledge and communication skills.
• Knowledge of traffic routes and basic truck maintenance (desirable).

Working Conditions

• Strict safety protocols, including PPE use.
• Work in diverse outdoor environments.
• Physical activity including walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, climbing.
