ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential sites. This role involves navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and handling extension chutes weighing 30-50 pounds.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads.
• Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to site conditions.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes for precise pouring.
• Truck Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the truck.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service and maintain a positive company image.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To succeed, you should have:

• Valid CDL A or B license; high school diploma preferred; must qualify in FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Acceptable CSA and MVR records; no recent DUI/DWI; no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, traffic routes, and basic truck maintenance (desirable).
